Note: neveredit is not under active development anymore. After some period of being simply too busy to work on it, I have moved on to other games and projects (NWN2 having received such bad reviews that I'm not particularly interested in the coming Mac port.) Do feel free to use the library or even the interface code for further projects or to ask me questions about it. - DerSumpfork
When
Bioware released their wonderful game
Neverwinter Nights for Linux and Macintosh, it was without the toolset that allows players to create their own worlds for the game. Neveredit attempts to fulfill the need for such a toolset, while being cross-platform and open source. Neveredit is primarily written by DerSumpfork in his spare time, with help from other volunteers. You are more than welcome to help out by coding, designing graphics, writing help text, submitting bugs, submitting feature requests or even
donating to the project.
Implemented features include:
Loading and saving of modules
Editing of Module and Area Properties
Editing of most Placeable, Door and Creature properties
3D Graphical placement of Placeables, Doors and Creatures on the map
Script editing and compiling (thanks to
Torlack's great compiler)
